How can technology help discharge and support our healthcare system? Are you active as a healthcare worker? We invite all of you to send in challenges, problems and ideas where we could help out by developing new innovative solutions. Please share them with us. Think about topics like coordination of care, communication towards patients and the population about healthcare measures, the daily work routine, making available protection gear, materials and equipment, the list goes on! Solutions range from the use of infrared cameras, AI for technical data-analysis, setting up new communication channels or online platforms, mapping corona outbreaks,... We are here to find the right solutions and develop them with our teams!

- How can we use personal data to help tracking and understanding the corona virus, while empowering the citizen and respecting his privacy? If we can realize this, we can restart our social lives minimizing the chance to get infected. If there was infrastructure that allowed people to share relevant data with the click of a button, we could analyze it to estimate when and where infected people come together with those who are susceptible, we would learn more about the disease mechanism of the virus, and we could follow up the support base for the measures taken, and probably even more.
- It has always been annoying to wear glasses underneath safety goggles and especially during a crisis where you are not allowed to take off your glasses to relieve your nose and temples from the constant pressure. Next to that people are doing long days and can work up a sweat, this can lead to fogged up glasses/goggles. Poor visibility is definitely not what you want during any medical procedure. Can we find a solution there?
- How could data be shared from the ambulance / first response team to the hospital so that everything is put in place upon arrival of the patient, so that no critical time is lost? And how can the ambulance/first response system be improved so patients don't have to wait for immobilisation materials (when still in use by others), and care providers have a real-time overview of what's available and where?
- Currently only severe cases and medical workers are being tested. In the (near) future we will likely want to see exactly how many people were infected to see if we are getting close to herd immunity levels. By allowing people to test themselves in the comfort of their own home, we can get an overview of the entire population without stressing healthcare workers. To be able to request and track all these test kits, a new platform is needed. The platform should be easy to use for all parties involved and should provide an insight into the data.
